About Peggy Richards
I began formally training in Massage while I was traveling through out the U.S. studying Dance on the college circuit. NYC was my last stop and where I began attending Rolfing classes at the New York School for Rolfing. I became Certified in Dance Therapy at NYU's New School for Social Research and Yoga Teacher Instructor Certification through the YMCA before completing my BFA in Dance at Mary Mount Manhattan College. I received training in Meditation, Gi Gong, Tai Chi and various forms of martial arts to enhance the bodywork services I offer. I worked in the Film Industry while going to school in NYC as a Make-up artist for TV Commercials and Videos.
After returning to my home state of AZ in 1987. I worked at the Boulders Resort and several other Resorts and Hotels through out the Valley as an independent contractor. I was asked to offer Massage Therapy at Scottsdale Memorial Hospital (Honor Health) Cardiac Division and worked at a Medical private practice under Scottsdale Family Health Care with a team of Medical Dr's, PT's and an Acupuncturist. I opened my first private practice office in downtown Scottsdale in 1991 while continuing to work in the tourist industry and branching out into providing Sports Massage to visiting and local football, baseball, basketball and race car professional teams.
Continuing my education in Cultural Healing Arts, I was led to Sandpoint, Idaho to study Indian Shamanism and I decided it would be best to move there as the training concentrated on nature and developing a lifestyle that respected living by its rules and amongst it peacefully. I worked as a Massage Therapist at the Spa at Coeur d'Alene before joining the team at Bonner General Hospital as the Director of the Massage Therapy Department and an assistant Physical Therapist. In 2000, I opened Dreams in Beauty Day Spa and began commuting to AZ in 2011 once a month to maintain my private practice there, perform Make-up Artistry and visit with family.
Through weaving techniques together, or using them exclusively, my goal is to assist you in accomplishing your goals by providing relaxation, stress, pain relief and support in obtaining and maintaining increased flexibility, structural re-alignment, joint stability and injury recovery
I currently work out of Scottsdale, Clarkdale and Sedona AZ

What I enjoy about the work i do?
When I see people get something out of their session that they can take into their everyday life as being an improvement to their lifestyle, I am honored to have been given the privilege to have worked with them.
I love to see clients become pain free, relaxed and more comfortable with their body.
